Privacy Policy — Market Lingo A.I.

Market Lingo A.I. does not require an account, does not collect personal information, and does not use third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs. AI analysis runs on your device using Apple Intelligence. The only data sent off-device is the ticker symbol or economic series ID needed to fetch public market data.
1. Introduction
This policy explains how Market Lingo A.I. ("the App," "we," "our," or "us") handles information when you use the App. We have built the App with privacy as a default — minimal data, no accounts, no tracking.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:
- Names, email addresses, phone numbers, or other personal identifiers
- Apple ID, device serial numbers, or advertising identifiers (IDFA)
- Precise or coarse location data
- Contacts, photos, calendar, or any other on-device user content
- Behavioral analytics or usage telemetry
- Cookies or cross-app/cross-site tracking data
- Crash reports beyond Apple's standard opt-in TestFlight or App Store reporting (governed by Apple's privacy policy)
3. How the App Works
On-Device AI
The App's AI features (Market Lingo A.I. recommendations, plain-English summaries, support and resistance reads, price targets, news takes) are generated using Apple's on-device Foundation Models framework. Your queries and the AI's responses never leave your device. We do not operate, route through, or use any third-party AI service such as OpenAI, Anthropic, or Google.
Market Data Requests
To show stock prices, fundamentals, and macroeconomic indicators, the App makes anonymous HTTPS requests to third-party financial data providers. These requests include only the ticker symbol or public economic series identifier you have queried, along with an API key associated with the App rather than with you. They do not include your name, account, device identifier, or any personal information.
Local Storage
The App stores the following on your device only, using Apple's standard UserDefaults and StoreKit storage:
- The list of tickers you have viewed or favorited
- Your subscription entitlement state, as reported by StoreKit
- App preferences (e.g. selected horizon, data provider toggles)
This data is not transmitted to us. It is removed when you delete the App.
4. In-App Purchases and Subscriptions
Subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. The App receives only a signed StoreKit transaction confirming entitlement; we do not see your payment method, billing address, or Apple ID. Refer to Apple's Privacy Policy for how Apple handles purchase data.
5. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any of the following:
- Advertising networks or ad SDKs
- Google Analytics, Firebase Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or similar analytics
- Facebook SDK, TikTok SDK, or other social tracking
- Third-party crash reporting (Sentry, Crashlytics, Bugsnag, etc.)
- Customer data platforms or attribution SDKs
The only outbound network calls are to public financial data providers (as described above) and to Apple's StoreKit servers (handled by the operating system).
6. Children's Privacy
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from children. Because the App does not collect personal information from anyone, it does not collect personal information from children either.
7. Data Security
Because the App does not transmit personal data to our servers, the typical risks of a server-side data breach do not apply. Local data is protected by iOS sandboxing and the device's standard security features. All network requests use HTTPS.
8. Your Rights
You can:
- Stop all data flow at any time by closing the App or disabling network access in iOS Settings.
- Delete all locally stored App data by uninstalling the App.
- Manage or cancel your subscription at any time in App Store → your account → Subscriptions.
Because we do not collect personal information, requests to access, correct, or delete personal data under laws such as GDPR or CCPA do not apply to data held by us — there is none to retrieve. For questions about data held by Apple in connection with your App Store purchase, contact Apple.
9. International Users
The App is operated from the United States. By using the App, users outside the United States acknowledge that any data processed by Apple's services or by the third-party data providers listed above may be processed in the United States or other jurisdictions in accordance with the providers' own policies.
10. Educational Use; Not Financial Advice
Market Lingo A.I. is an educational and informational tool. AI-generated recommendations, price targets, and commentary are not financial advice and should not be relied upon as such. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this document reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be reflected in an updated App version and on this page.
